About the Speaker:
Chem Perez, a Filipino residing in Thailand since 2007, is a passionate advocate for environmental protection and human well-being. Combining his expertise as an English teacher and digital marketer, he founded PlanetCleanup. This initiative leverages social media to raise awareness about waste management and inspire positive change.
PlanetCleanup’s mission is twofold: promoting environmental consciousness and fostering a sense of community restoration. The organization has grown beyond its Thai roots, establishing groups in other countries. Perez and his dedicated volunteers actively participate in cleanup projects throughout Pattaya, Bang Saray, Sattahip, Chon Buri, Malaysia and the Philippines.
